BB3, 700 sq ft, has two bedrooms, each with an ensuite. Each feature queen-size beds with 100% cotton luxury bedding. BB3 also has two work stations, perfect for remote working.

House Rules

House Rules, Terms, and Conditions

By booking Bayou Bungalow, you and your guests have reviewed, understood, and agreed to the below terms:

Occupancy: Your reservation must include all guests staying on the property. Visitors or guests not on the reservation require pre-approval. Visitors or guests not on the reservation can never exceed four (4).

Noise and Partying: Parties, events, gatherings, or special occasions are never allowed. If neighbors can hear your music, it is too loud. If Bayou Bungalow receives any noise complaints, you will be fined $500, the remainder of your stay will be cancelled and there will be no refund. There is ZERO noise allowed after 10:00 PM and before 9:00 AM.

Smoking: Smoking cigarettes, marijuana, vaping or any other type of tobacco/smoking is strictly not allowed in the unit or on the property. If any sign of smoking is discovered, the Guest authorizes the Host to charge the Guest an additional $500 cleaning fee, guests will escorted off premises without a refund.

Parking: All guests should park in the driveway, in the designated parking spaces marked by your unit number. You park in a space that does not match your unit number, your car will be towed.

Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. If a guest fails to check-out by 11:00 AM, a $250 late check-out fee will be charged.

Early Check-In: Early check-in is available for certain bookings. The cost for early check-in is $20 per hour prior to the check-in time or $55 for an 11:00 AM check-in. Early check-in cannot be confirmed until the day prior to arrival. Early check-in may be canceled and fee refunded if a urgent maintenance issue arises. If you'd like an early check-in, please alert the host. If available, the host will send a separate early check-in fee request within the system.

Cleaning: Bayou Bungalow will be cleaned and inspected by third-party cleaning contractors before your arrival and after departure. Please use common courtesy by keeping Bayou Bungalow clean, report any problems or damages, and do not rearrange furniture.

Sewer: Only toilet paper is permitted in the toilet. Bayou Bungalow is old and cannot take any other types of items.

Excessive Wear and Tear and Cleanliness: Drink coasters are provided throughout the home for use by guests and should be used for ALL furniture. If intentional excessive wear and tear are found at the home during or after Guests' stay due to unauthorized use or otherwise, or if any additional cleaning is necessary due to intentional spills, trash left on site, stains to furniture, damaged items, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes Bayou Bungalow to charge the Guest for additional fees. The Guest will be provided with a receipt for any additional fees incurred upon request or as required by local laws or regulations. If any sign of smoking is discovered, the Guest authorizes Hosts to charge the Guest an additional $500 cleaning fee.

Surveillance Security and Wifi: Bayou Bungalow utilizes Surveillance Security Cameras located externally on the property. These Surveillance Security Cameras are there for the protection, safety, and security of our property and our guests. Again, our surveillance security cameras are only on the exterior of the property and are never inside. You have 100% privacy inside. You are never permitted to touch, change direction of, or cover the exterior cameras. Disconnecting the WiFi is not allowed. If WiFi becomes offline, Hosts can enter property at any time to fix issue.

Pets: Bayou Bungalow is a pet-free environment. If any sign of a pet is discovered, the Guest authorizes Bayou Bungalow to charge the Guest an additional $500 cleaning fee.

Maintenance and Access: Hosts reserves the right to enter the home at any time during a Guest's stay. Hosts will attempt to address maintenance issues as they occur. If a maintenance issue occurs that cannot be fixed in a reasonable amount of time (within 12 hours) or if the home is unavailable for any reason, as determined by our discretion, and significantly affects your stay, we reserve the right to refund at our discretion or offer to relocate you to another nearby comparable home. Addressing maintenance issues may include third-party vendors accessing the home during your stay.

Long-term stay (28 days or longer): During these types of stays, guests authorize hosts to conduct a two-week check-in 14 days after the guest checks in.

Weather and Other Unforeseen Events: Bayou Bungalow and its operators do not accept liability for inconveniences arising from any utility stoppages including water, propane, electricity or plumbing, damage caused by weather/road conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control. No refunds will be given for any delays or cancellations due to such conditions. Travel Insurance is highly recommended for any stay.

Indemnity: Neither Bayou Bungalow nor its owners assume any liability for loss, theft, damage, or injury to Guest, his/her guests, or other occupants in the home. The Guest, for himself/herself/themself, his/her/their heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owners, 3rd Party Vendors, Affiliated Contractors, and Bayou Bungalow from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the Guest, his/her/their guests or other occupants of the home as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the home and agrees to hold Owner and Bayou Bungalow free and harmless of any claim or suit arising therefrom.

Falsified Bookings: If a guest’s booking was made under false pretense, including, but not limited to, a falsified name, age, or size of the party, all guests will be subject to immediate cancellation of their reservation, removal from the property, and forfeiture of all amounts paid.

Limited Short-Term Rental: It is expressly understood and agreed that this is a short-term vacation rental and is not a lease or other long-term residential tenancy agreement. This agreement is only for the licensed use of the Vacation Rental for the stated reservation dates. It creates no property rights in you and no rights to renewal or for recurring usage. Guests shall not sublet the Vacation Rental or any part of it and shall not assign any interest (in whole or in part) to this agreement or any rights hereunder.

Force Majeure Policy: In the event your stay at the Bayou Bungalow becomes impossible for any reason outside of the owners control, including but limited to natural disasters, pandemics, fire, evacuation orders, or other acts of government agencies, Bayou Bungalow may choose to cancel your booking and issue a either of the following: A partial or full refund, or a full booking credit for future stays of the same amounts paid. For purposes of clarification, no refund or credit is due (or will be made) to you for inclement weather. You and your invitees must comply with any mandatory evacuation order.

Criminal Activity Prohibited: Use of the Property for any illegal activity is prohibited and may result in fines, prosecution, and/or your immediate removal from the property. This prohibition extends to use of the property's internet service, if any, for criminal activity, including but not limited to unlawful downloads of copyrighted material, including movies, music, software, or other material. We may cooperate with any investigation of alleged criminal activity that occurred at the property during your stay.

General Terms: If any section, clause, paragraph, or term of the House Rules is held or determined to be void, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, all other terms, clauses, or paragraphs herein shall be severed and remain in force and effect. This agreement shall be binding on and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and on each of their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assignees. This agreement or any rights hereunder may not be assigned (in whole or in part) by you. This agreement is taken in full compliance with federal, state, and local Fair Housing Laws, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, country of origin, handicap, or familial status. This agreement becomes binding upon receipt of your initial payment. Sending payment constitutes your acceptance and agreement to these terms, conditions, limitations, and restrictions.

The space
BayouBungalow3 is ideal for the traveller who is coming to town for a corporate working session or someone who needs temporary medium-term lodging. This unit features two bedrooms - both have an ensuite bathroom.

The unit features off-street parking, a dedicated working space, full kitchen, and Beautyrest pillowtop mattresses, goose-feather pillows and with 100% cotton linens.

We believe that it's important to feel like you're at home, even when you're not.
Neighborhood overview
The Neighborhood is called "Northside Village". The Bungalow is surrounded by many new-build single-family homes and is currently in transition. The location is a few minutes access to I-10, I-45, and 59. It's close to many of the city's best attractions, including the Museum and Theatre Districts, Downtown, the Convention Center, and St. Arnolds brewery.
